About Our Farm

 

Sweet Valley Flowers is a small family run farm located in Langley British Columbia. My name is Terri and I do everything, with the help of my partner Shane. We moved to this small acreage in 2023, and on a whim I decided I was going to grow flowers. 

The summer of 2024 was our first growing season and we grew over 250 dahlia plants successfully. In 2025 I aim to grow over 700 dahlias, and am adding in some additional flowers and foliage for bouquets as well. 

We will have our flower stand open seasonally, starting with Tulips in early spring, and moving onto hand tied mixed dahlia bouquets in the summer. 

An important note to mention is that we source every one of our tubers from local growers who do not import from large commercial growers. This is why our tubers are priced how they are. We will never be the cheapest, and don't aim to be. Instead we support other local growers who follow the same rigorous sanitation and growing practices that we do. We inspect all plants as they grow for viruses, and when it's time to dig up our tubers, we ensure that there is no visible virus or disease.
